Time To Light Some FIRES!!!!!

I am asking you to try your hand at some political activism. It only takes 5 minutes- please help out.

We ALL know how heart breaking this IF journey is. We are all here right? I recently was looking at the RESOLVE website hoping beyond hope that there was SOMETHING closer than 5 hours away (no luck), and I came across the information about the Family Building Act of 2009. Was my head in the sand so far in 2009 that I missed this? Did I purge if from my mind if I DID know about it? I don’t know- all that I DO know is that I am all about it now.  I sent out an email to my email friends saying “a friend”…ha ha ha ha, like people are going to NOT see through that. Sometimes I just have to take a chance. Right now, I just feeling a little to fired up about it to care.  People DO know we are having some difficulty- it is just the reasons WHY that I don’t want them to know.

Anyhoo- Check out the website- and RESOLVE makes it SUPER easy to send an email to your state’s Representative. You basically just enter your stuff, and then hit send. LOVE IT!  Set whatever form of reminders you have to send weekly or monthly emails.

What I am did is printed out a letter and hand wrote a little part in a colorful ink so catch their eyes- and hopefully stand out and be memorable.  LETS LIGHT THEM UP!

We ROCK this online community- IMAGINE what we could do if we ALL  sent ONE email a week, and ONE letter a month to our state’s Representatives?  Tell them our stories, link them our blogs? Give them the Stirrup Queen’s Blogroll? Let them see our heartache and our financial struggles?
