Pain is Weakness Leaving the Body

mmph. (non-IF post really)

I am adding Show and Tell to this post. I feel like this is going to be a good one. šŸ™‚
I am showing and telling what I did at boot camp yesterday. šŸ™‚

Day two of the boot camp, and I am feeling it. What did we do at boot camp?

1. Lap around track at full jog
2. Warm up stretches

3.Cardio

Interval training:

  • Flat out running for 30 seconds
  • Jogging for 30 seconds
  • Walk for 30 seconds
  • Rinse repeat for 20 effin‘ minutes
  • puke

Okay, I didn’t really puke, but I really felt like it.

THEN we did 1 minute of each of the following

Rest for 2 minutes, and repeat each for 30 seconds.

Um, lets just say, the supermans (uh, supermen?) were tough b/c of my pregnant belly and my 40DDs. The mountain climbers made my ass and thighs feel like concrete. It was horrible. Picture of my 0week, 0d belly is to the right. Let me clairfy. My NEGATIVE pregnancy belly. ugh. I am like a squirrel- storing for winter…only in my damn belly. Every po’boy and fried shrimp. LOL!!!

Here are the burpees:

My first major hurdle will be eating sushi with my pals for our once a month meeting. I plan on having egg drop soup or miso soup…edamame and a veggie roll that has a cucumber wrap instead of rice wrap. šŸ™‚ How does that sound?

My friend showed me an awesome website that compiles a TON OF restaurants and their menus. It is mostly for weight watchers…but it has all carbs, etc. listed. CHECK IT OUT!!!

As I was doing the horrible run….I started my mantra….”babies, IVF, babies, IVF…after 15 minutes it was kinda like “babiveeef, babiveeef, babiveeef..FUCK….babieveef.”

LOL!FYI- my friend made over 800 bucks at her yard sale for her trip to the Ukraine and the orphanage there- half of the jewelry I made sold!! YEAH!! At 16-20+ bucks a peice that is awesome!!! There are some updates on the trip, and they have a beautiful new dress for sale! Check it out!!

Don’t forget to go over and see what the REST OF THE CLASS IS SHOWING!!!! Add yourself to list!!!

  1. Good grief…that is quite a workout…they don't call it boot camp for nothing! :o)

  2. You can do it!
    And I can…um…cheer you on!

  3. Oh geez! That boot camp sounds…like boot camp! Good for you for sticking with it. It doesn't sound like much to do just one minute of something but I remember when I used to work out that one minute of anything was LOOOOOONG. Congrats too on the jewellery sales – you have lots to be proud of!

  4. LOOK AT YOU GO! YOU CAN DO IT!!! It'll be so worth it because you'll be ready to be a healthy, safe home for your baby(ies). GOOD JOB!!

  9. Holy shnikees batman! That's quite the workout. Good for you!

  10. Wow! That is an intensive workout!

As far as I know, sushi is actually a pretty decent food to eat while dieting- just go easy on the soy sauce, and stay away from the Americanized cream-cheese/deep-fried/mayonnaise-sauced rolls. Fish is a great source of lean protein, right?

I, on the other hand, after skipping ONE STINKIN' RUN yesterday due to the dental procedure I had, have gained two pounds! AAAAAH. So yeah, I may be joining you with some of these crazy exercises soon!

  11. no wonder your mantra shifted mid-work out! That is a doozy!! Keep it up and your after belly is going to be sweet!!

  12. eyeheartinternet
